Hall of the Ashenmere Basin
Volcanic Civilizations of the Ancient World
Three civilizations rose and fell in the shadow of Mount Serath. Their stories — told through obsidian blades, bronze mirrors, and clay tablets — span three millennia of innovation, conflict, and cultural transformation.
Gallery of the River People
Life Along the Ashenmere
The Vorrashi were the basin's first people — pearl divers, river traders, and spirit-speakers who built a civilization on water. Their artifacts, some over five thousand years old, reveal a world where the river was road, market, temple, and grave. This wing traces the Vorrashi from their earliest reed-boat settlements to their gradual absorption into the Kethari Dominion.
The Iron Dawn
Rise of the Serath Ascendancy
When iron replaced bronze, the old world ended in fire and conquest. The Serath Ascendancy rose from the ashes of the Kethari collapse — a military state forged in the crater of Mount Serath. Their roads still scar the landscape, their iron currency still surfaces in farmers' fields, and their alphabet became the foundation of all later writing in the basin. This wing chronicles the violent transition from Bronze to Iron Age.
